2. Service Scope and Limitations
2.1 Services Provided
FIXplanet provides doorstep repair services for Apple devices including but not limited to:

- Battery replacement and optimization
- Back glass replacement
- Water damage assessment and recovery attempts
- Charging port cleaning and replacement
- Speaker and microphone replacement
- Other hardware component replacement
2.2 Services We Do NOT Provide
- Software jailbreaking or bypassing device security
- Removal of iCloud activation locks
- Data recovery from encrypted devices without proper credentials
- Services on stolen or illegally obtained devices
- Modifications that violate local laws or regulations
3. Data and Device Security

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY: You MUST backup all data, photos, documents, and important files before service. While we take every precaution to protect your data, FIXplanet is NOT responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process.
3.1 Our Data Handling Practices
- We do NOT access, copy, or view your personal files, photos, messages, or data
- We may need to test device functionality after repair (camera, speakers, etc.)
- We recommend turning off "Find My iPhone" and removing device passwords temporarily for testing purposes
- All device handling is conducted with strict privacy protocols
3.2 Customer Obligations
Before service, you must:
- Create a complete backup of your device (iCloud or iTunes/Finder)
- Sign out of personal accounts if possible

4. Warranty and Guarantee Limitations

- Defects in parts installed by FIXplanet

- Replacement of faulty components installed during service
4.2 Warranty Does NOT Cover
- Physical damage occurring after service completion
- Water or liquid damage after repair
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or third-party repairs
- Normal wear and tear
- Software issues, iOS updates, or operating system problems
- Components not replaced by FIXplanet
- Accidental drops, impacts, or mishandling after service
- Damage from improper use or care
4.3 Warranty Conditions
To maintain warranty coverage:
- Keep your service receipt and warranty certificate
- Report any issues within 30 days for priority handling
- Do not attempt self-repairs or seek third-party service during warranty period
- Use device according to manufacturer's guidelines
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Service Limitations: FIXplanet's liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided
- No Consequential Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, loss of profits, or any other economic losses
- Pre-Existing Damage: We are not responsible for pre-existing issues not identified during initial assessment
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Component Availability: Part availability and repair timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
5.1 Maximum Liability
In no event shall FIXplanet's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
6. Water Damage and Complex Repairs

Water/liquid damage repairs are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We will attempt recovery, but success is NOT guaranteed. Devices with liquid damage may have hidden internal corrosion that can cause future failures even after successful initial repair.
For water-damaged devices:

- Some repairs may only be temporary solutions
- Additional issues may arise after initial recovery
- No warranty can be provided for liquid-damaged devices (case-by-case basis)
- Data recovery attempts are made with best effort but not guaranteed
7. Pricing and Payment

- Same-day service: Subject to technician availability and part stock
- We reserve the right to decline service in areas outside our coverage zone
9. Quality of Parts

We use various grades of replacement parts:
